Year One
We were watching Year One and we generally liked it. I was a little uncomfortable with the jokes around Sodom and sex but they were generally lost in the shuffle. As the credits were rolling on the DVD, my 13 yr old son says innocently, "Dad - what is Sodomy?"
"I'll have to get back to you on that one son."

Speaking of children..
We punished our boys by taking away all electronics, TV included, because they were doing poorly in school. They took it well - their grades were not good and they could see them online. After the first day, I turned to ask one son where his older brother was and he said matter of factly "he is upstairs in his room rocking himself in the corner."
"What! Is he reading?"
"No, just talking to himself."
Its been a week now and he has progressed to constructing ever more complicated "fortresses of solitude" and making strange noises to himself. He had better get his grades and get his TV back before he completely loses his grip.
